About Raven

Raven is a strategic idea agency for businesses that refuse to be ordinary.

By blending clarity, connection, and creative instinct, Raven's big goal is to deliver big magic.  Magic will take the form of campaigns, content and game plans that are built on sharp thinking and purposeful strategy.

In a world drowning in noise and algorithms, I focus on what actually moves people: human connection, their local community, and ideas that feel alive.

My name is Amy Madden, and I built Raven... not as a marketing agency. But as an UN-Marketing Agency. Actually, an Idea Company. I've done marketing the old way for 30 years... and now, I specialize in helping visionary founders and leaders clarify who they are, claim their space, and connect deeply with the audience that’s meant for them through IDEAS that are developed and curated just for them. It feels pretty magical, but it’s all very REAL.

No smoke, mirrors, or empty hype to create illusion -  just clever, fun, authentic magic that looks like:
• sharp insight
• courageous positioning
• bold creative direction
• an intuitive understanding of people
….and 30 years of experience.

I don’t chase trends for my clients or subscribe to jargon and corporate-y acronyms. I don’t believe louder is always better for every client. I don't sell you what you don't need.

I DO believe people are amazingly inventive.

I DO want to see more intention and connection over automation.
I DO push clients for clarity and consistency in their content.
I DO believe that great strategy can feel almost mystical — not because it's fake.

*Raven exists...for businesses who want strategy for the uncommon, not marketing for the masses; because I believe ideas have wings— and strategy is what helps them soar;  to honor people, their passions, and their courage to share with the world;  to spread joy and positivity through ravenlike cleverness and ingenuity.​​

I’ve always been a daydreamer, pretender, performer and doodling inventor... who found an education and career that feature those parts of me. I've spent my 30 year career as a creative marketer, strategic thinker, event planner and branding account executive for too many clients to list. And now I'm the owner and main

"idea gal" at Raven. 

 

I have a passion for good branding, a mad respect for great design, a commitment to excellent grammar and polished copywriting, and a desire to leave a legacy of service to people. I want to help good people get noticed, be heard, and sell lots of $*it if that's what their goal is. My work lives at the intersection of busy-brained creativity and excellent strategy. I love to hang out where bold ideas meet thoughtful execution for meaningful engagement.

 

I'm an eager and natural connector, a collaborative leader—someone who sees the big picture, asks a lot of questions, and helps leaders think beyond the expected.  I don't shy away from awkward questions, I love digging into the WHY and helping to break down old patterns to uncover what’s next.

Energetic, expressive, endlessly curious, and unapologetically creative, I think out loud, connect dots quickly, and bring momentum to ideas. And if you can't tell by now, I'm never short on words.
